Product checks

Checking a code needs no account. PIVERS counts results for service monitoring but does not store the codes you check alongside your location or device. Your recent checks are saved only on your device, and you can clear them in My activity.

Concern reports

Concern reports and their evidence are seen only by authorised case officers. Your identity is never published, and is shared with a business or authority only when necessary and lawful. Anonymous reports receive a private follow-up code instead of needing contact details.

Alerts and messages

If you subscribe to alerts, we use your email address only to send the notices you asked for, after you confirm the subscription. Every alert email has an unsubscribe link. When you check by WhatsApp or SMS, your phone number is stored only as a keyed hash.

Enquiries

When you contact us, we use your details only to reply to your request. We do not add you to marketing lists.

Business accounts

Business and staff accounts hold the information needed to operate the workspace, such as names, work email addresses, roles and a record of actions taken. Actions are written to an append-only audit history.

PIVERS AI

When AI assistance becomes available, it will use only information you are allowed to see, and we will record what it used rather than storing every conversation indefinitely. This notice will be updated before AI features go live.

Retention and your rights

Records are kept according to published retention periods for each type of record, then deleted or anonymised. You can ask about, correct or object to the use of your information by writing to admindigital@piacan.org.
